About Us

The Company’s founder, Roy M. (Marc) Young, started the business with one man and a backhoe in the mid 1990’s.  Bobcat Contracting was later organized as a limited liability company under the laws of the State of Texas in 1997. 

Bobcat Contracting is focused on serving the energy industry.  The Company performs a variety of services for the oil and gas industry, including pipeline construction and maintenance, terminal and tank farm construction, fabrication, horizontal directional drilling, hydrostatic testing, and many other ancillary services.  Bobcat also has a large and growing heavy civil division, which performs a variety of civil construction projects, primarily for electric utilities and oil and gas companies.

The Company has grown steadily over the years.  Bobcat has maintained a steady rate of growth by emphasizing four key areas: safety, work quality, client satisfaction, and employee development.

The company headquarters is located in Hillsboro, Texas.
