Roy M. "Marc" Young - President
Marc graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Criminal Justice. Soon after graduation from Texas State, Marc started a small construction company that has grown into Bobcat Contracting. Through the years, Marc has continued to be heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of the business. His years of field experience have given Marc a unique perspective that not all executives possess.
Jefferson C. Bailey - General Manager
Jeff graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. Jeff started with Bobcat in 1998, and has overseen countless pipeline and terminal projects during his time with the company. His many years of work in the field have provided Jeff with an extensive knowledge base on which to draw from. Jeff’s current role includes lead superintendent and estimator for several oil and gas clients. Jeff also plays a vital role in employee development and customer relations.
S. Lee Sanders - General Counsel
Lee graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He then attended Baylor School of Law in Waco and earned a Juris Doctrine degree. While attending law school he was the associate editor of the Baylor Law Review. Lee joined the Bobcat staff in 2006 as General Counsel, and has since seen his duties expand to include lead superintendent / estimator for several large oil and gas clients.
George Crawshaw – Superintendent
George joined Bobcat Contracting in 2001 as a lead foreman. During his time with Bobcat, George has gained extensive experience in many areas of pipeline and terminal construction and maintenance. George currently oversees special projects and is also lead superintendent for two large oil and gas clients.
Jason C. Mackey - Superintendent
Jay graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Sciences and Development. After graduation, Jay spent three years in the insurance industry before joining Bobcat Contracting. Jay spent his first few years with Bobcat working on a crew before moving into management. Jay is currently a project manager.
D. John Gerik, CPA - Controller
John graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, and a Master of Science Degree in Accounting. He worked for three years in public accounting before joining Bobcat Contracting. John currently oversees accounting, finance and office operations. John’s other responsibilities include client development and continuing education of field personnel.
Douglas E. Miller - Safety Director
Doug graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science. He has fourteen years of construction and maintenance safety experience, primarily in the Petrochemical Industry. Doug served four years as Project Safety Coordinator for a major global chemical company and five years as Division Safety Manager for an Electrical Substation contractor before joining Bobcat Contracting in 2010. Doug’s duties as Safety Director focus on compliance, accident/incident prevention, training, and improving the overall safety performance of the company.
